The Niugini Dive Adventures (NDA) was first established at the Madang Resort Hotel in 1967 with the Late Bob and his wife Dinah Halstead as our diving instructors. Since NDA was established, we have continued to provide diving as a PADI Dive facility for over 40 years now. The Niugini Dive Adventures (NDA) is one of Madang's pioneer dive facilities, it is the only PADI certified dive center here in Madang.

Previously, we provided diving as an optional activity rather than the prime purpose for a visit to Madang and PNG. Our prime objective remains, exposing the wonderful rich cultural heritage of the people and the wide variety of the geographical beauty as well as its wildlife.

We have shown this both on land and aboard our mini expedition cruise vessels, again offering diving as an optional activity. More recently, we have placed greater emphasis on diving, hence our attendance at DEMA, BOOTS, ITB, Maritime shows in Japan and other dive exhibitions throughout the world. We are being more active in promoting diving every year.

Apart from our base at the Madang Resort, where our expert diving instructors undertake instructions and operate land based diving, we also operate the Kalibobo Spirit (KS). The 30m luxury motor yacht is fully equipped to handle 12 divers on offshore islands in PNG. Whilst we have scheduled departures, the KS is also available for exclusive charter which has attracted such well known people as Sir. Mich Jagger.
